Case: 260,000 KGS tax assessment cancelled after a desk audit
A retail IE received an assessment of almost 300,000 KGS. We restored two years of records and removed most of it at the objection stage.
Problem. An individual entrepreneur in Bishkek retail. After a desk audit, the tax office assessed additional tax and penalties of almost 300,000 KGS due to discrepancies between the bank statement and the filings.
What we did. We restored two years of records, collected supporting documents for every disputed transaction, prepared motivated objections to the audit act and presented the client’s position to the tax service.
Result. Assessments of 260,000 KGS were cancelled at the objection stage — the case never went to court. The client switched to monthly support so the situation would not repeat.
